Recovery is ongoing

The Archive

Every file recovered here belongs to the same archive. They connect, and they lock together.

New files as they are recovered

This is not a channel. It is not a catalogue. What surfaces here are files, each one an account of something that happened and was written down before it could be buried.

We pull them off the drive as we can and release them one at a time. A voice in one file is a hand in another. The same institution keeps turning up under a different name each time it does. Watch in order, and the shape of the thing becomes hard to unsee.

Every file carries a card. The cards are a deck, and the deck is a map of what is out there. When you have seen enough of them, you stop being able to look at a room the way you used to.

The Deck

The Corrupting Deck

The index of everything.

Every file carries a card. Fifty-two threats, four suits, three ways to end a thing. It is free, and it was printed to look like a joke.

The Intake

Unfiled

Reports that never became files.

Sightings, fragments, incidents logged and left. No suit, no degree, no follow-up. Most are nothing. Some are not nothing.

Read the intake

The intake never closes

Indexed listeners receive the next file first.

If you have witnessed something that belongs in the record, the threads are open under every file.
